Project Office Participates in Consultations on Situational Analysis of Child and Adolescent Well-Being

The Project Office participated in consultations on the Situational Analysis of Child and Adolescent Well-Being. The consultation, organized by UNICEF in collaboration with the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms, brought together representatives from government agencies and NGOs.

UNICEF’s Acting Representative in Kazakhstan, Leticia Buzzy-Weil, stated:
“The Situation Analysis will help assess progress in meeting national commitments to the Convention on the Rights of the Child and achieving the SDGs. It will identify areas requiring special attention and guide national policymakers in reaching these goals.”

The analysis focused on climate change and its impact on the lives, health, and well-being of children in Kazakhstan. Participants discussed issues such as reducing CO2 emissions, improving air quality in various regions, and ensuring children have unobstructed access to clean drinking water.
