CACF and the Environmental Information and Analytical Center to Conduct ESG Assessment Training for Enterprises in Kazakhstan
The Training Center of the Central Asian Climate Fund (CACF), in partnership with the Environmental Information and Analytical Center (EIAC) of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will hold a one-day practical training course entitled «ESG Assessment of Enterprises in Kazakhstan Based on Official Environmental Data».
The course author and instructor is Yerlik Karazhan, Chief Executive Officer of the Central Asian Climate Fund.
During the training, participants will:
- explore international ESG standards and their application in Kazakhstan;
- learn how to analyze official data on emissions, discharges, and waste generation;
- gain practical skills in comparing the environmental performance of enterprises using official environmental data.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive methodological materials and certificates confirming their professional development in the implementation of ESG standards.
ESG is a framework of business standards that evaluates how companies manage their impact on the environment, society, and corporate governance. The acronym stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance.
The practical training course will take place on August 25, 2026, in Astana, in an offline (in-person) format. The number of participants is limited.
