C5+JAPAN: The Project Office signs Trilateral Memorandum of Understanding with Mitsubishi Corporation and Rakurs Consulting Group

The Project Office has signed a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding with Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) and Rakurs Consulting Group (Kazakhstan) during the C5+Japan Business Forum held in Astana.
The Memorandum focuses on collaboration in the fields of carbon units and natural environmental solutions. Methane emissions from the agricultural sector are a significant factor in global warming, and the parties aim to address this issue by introducing technologies and innovations to reduce methane emissions.
The development and implementation of projects related to carbon units are also a priority. These projects include soil organic carbon sequestration, reforestation and afforestation, Global Methane Pledge, and the production and application of bio-coal, among others.
The parties expressed their gratitude and commitment by formally signing the Memorandum and are prepared to advance these projects as soon as possible.
