A working meeting on collaboration with the British Embassy in Kazakhstan

On December 5, 2024, the Central Asia Climate Foundation hosted a working meeting to discuss the Foundation's collaboration with the British Embassy in Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the Foundation's staff presented the participants with an overview of ongoing projects, including the development of the Just Transition Strategy. The Foundation highlighted that the ERG Group of Companies is one of the sponsors of this project.
Additionally, the meeting covered the details of an upcoming study tour on decarbonization for a delegation from Kazakhstan, scheduled for early March 2025 in London and Wales. The program is designed to explore the United Kingdom's best practices in carbon capture technologies, hydrogen solutions, and the transition to a low-carbon economy. Participants will visit key facilities, engage with representatives from government agencies, research institutions, and businesses, and examine cutting-edge technologies in a real-world setting.
The tour will offer opportunities for knowledge exchange, fostering international partnerships, and supporting Kazakhstan in developing its Strategy and decarbonization efforts, which are crucial in addressing climate change.
