The Project Office and the “International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects” sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Project Office and the International Center for Green Technologies and Investment Projects have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This memorandum aims to facilitate the sharing of expertise and provide mutual informational support for the implementation of green projects in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The parties have committed to jointly undertaking efforts to combat climate change in the region. They will work together to transition to “green” business practices, transfer and adapt “green” technologies and best practices, develop “green” finance, and implement measures to stimulate investment inflows.

At the conclusion of the event, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to the principles of green economy development and agreed to continue their collaboration on projects focused on the sustainable use of natural resources and the reduction of carbon footprints.
